A fantastic opportunity is now available for a Business Intelligence Manager to join our team at Solvd.

 

This is a hybrid role based in the centre of Glasgow. As a Business Process Outsourcer, we provide a number of services including Customer Experience, Finance, Payroll and Data Analytics. The Role

 

The purpose of the job is to manage the efficient and effective delivery of high-quality Business Intelligence for internal and external stakeholders that will enable their core business functions to run effectively. This includes overseeing the production of performance dashboards for Senior Leaders and multiple Operating Companies. The Business Intelligence Manager supports the activities of Solvd. relating to data strategy, data management and reporting. This includes database ownership and management.  

We are looking for someone who can confidently engage with stakeholders on all levels, both internal, and external; someone who can bridge the gap between technical, and non-technical users, collaborating with stakeholders to define & continuously improve our business systems and processes. 

In assessing suitability for the role, we will specifically assess against the skills and experience listed below.

 

Skills and Experience

  • Previous experience in Business Intelligence with a passion for continuous improvement.
  • Experience of analysing large diverse datasets, building reports and dashboards. 
  • Advanced understanding and knowledge of different types of data sources and systems, data modelling and documenting ERDs, data warehousing and database administration
  • Advanced knowledge and understanding of programming languages Python, SQL, SOQL (Salesforce Object Query Language) and formula language DAX.
  • Understanding of Business Intelligence Tools.

  • Experience of working in a Programme and Project environment.
  • Data Science or Data Analytics qualification

 

What you will get

  • £35k - £40k per annum (depending on experience).
  • Permanent role.
  • Monday to Friday, full time, 37.5 hours.
  • Hybrid working, 40% of your working week at home, 60% in our modern Glasgow office.
