  • 35 hours per week (shift-based with 24 hours cover, including earlies, lates, night turns, weekends and bank holidays)
  • You must be able to arrange your own transport for early/late shifts
  • Candidates will be required to undergo the appropriate medical for the role
  • Full training provided and uniform provided, knowledge of ticket types would be beneficial
  • Persons need to be aged 18 or above for this role

Join Our Team as a Customer Service Host at Beulieu Park

About the Role: 

We are looking for 18, Customer Service Hosts to become the friendly face of Greater  Anglia at a brand-new station. In the role you will be delivering exceptional customer service while helping passengers travel smoothly and safely. Your key responsibilities include:

  • Covering platform and Ticket Vending Machine, areas of the station and processing cash and card payments
  • Assisting customers at the gateline and ensuring the safe, tidy and efficient operation of the gates 
  • Helping to prevent ticketless travel and fraudulent activity 
  • Reporting any faults and issues promptly 
  • Assisting passengers with tickets, including checking them, general advice and making sure the gates operate
  • Providing the highest possible standard of advice, information and service to our customers
  • Delivering a safe, attractive retail station environment, with general cleaning, de-icing
  • Participating in the safe running of trains and a safe station environment by complying with procedures
  • Promoting all relevant marketing materials and useful information

  • Are calm under pressure, able to think on their feet, and able to handle various situations  
  • Possess a “can-do” attitude and enjoy working as part of a team 
  • Take pride in providing top-notch customer service and passionate in ensuring customer safety  
  • Have team spirit and bring your unique self to strengthen our team and foster a positive work environment
  • Have the physical abilities to operate ramps for our customers
