An exciting opportunity has arisen in our Commercial department. We are recruiting for Commercial Service Drivers to work on our commercial work including rail replacement duties. We are offering excellent rates of pay from £20.68-£29.82) per hour plus holiday pay.

Due to the nature of this work the position is offered on a casual worker agreement and there is no minimum commitment. Allocation of shifts is subject to availability. We offer a range of different shift patterns, often at weekends and public holidays at all our London depots.

The Role:

• Follow a planned route according to a time schedule
• Pick up and drop off passengers at designated stops/locations
• Follow procedures to ensure passenger safety
• Have a duty of care for the health and safety of yourself and your colleagues at all times, including a duty to report unsafe acts or omissions to safety
• Perform First Use Checks on vehicles
• Comply with company rules and regulations

The Candidate:

• Must have valid UK PCV Driving Licence for at least 2 years
• Valid CPC qualification
• No more than 6 Penalty points on your licence (No TT99, DR10s, CDs)
• One year London Double Decker Bus driving experience required
• Have a good knowledge of London and ability to learn any route using maps or videos provided.
• Excellent customer service skills
• Must have email account to accept shifts via email or web-portal.
• Must wear company uniform provided

All successful candidates will attend an induction at a depot which will give you all the training you’ll need including vehicle familiarisation, ticket machines, customer care, policies and procedures to get you ready to start in your new role.
