Role Details
- You will be working an average of 35 hours per week. Shifts will take place between 05:30 am and 22:30 pm, including a combination of early, late and weekend working.
- You must be able to arrange your own transport to ensure timely arrival for early and late shifts. Full training and a uniform are provided upon joining.
- You will need a Full UK drivers licence and hold less than 6 points as this role will require you to travel between out stations via our company car.
- Please note that applicants must be 18 years of age or older.
- It is a requirement that candidates can reliably travel to and from their agreed booking location at the scheduled times.
- Full uniform will be provided to ensure that you embrace our values as a brand
- Please note successful candidates will be required to attend and pass a railway safety critical medical

We are currently forward planning for any future roles that may come up to join our Customer Service Team as a Station Care Team Member based at Wickford Station. This advert is for future positions. The role could be either a Static or GPR Relief role.
The Role
In this role, as an Station Care Team Member, you’ll be the friendly face of Greater Anglia, delivering effective customer service while helping passengers travel smoothly and safely. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Provide passenger assistance to enhance customer experience and address queries.
- Make clear announcements using mobile PA systems from platforms.
- Ensure smooth customer flow and assist mobility-impaired customers.
- Offer support during service disruptions for safety and comfort.
- Create a welcoming environment through proactive customer service.
- Perform station upkeep duties, including changing displays, litter picking, and preparing for winter.
- Support train dispatching and undertake other general station duties as needed.
