At London Northwestern Railway and West Midlands Railway, we don’t just run trains – we connect people, places, and possibilities. We’re on an exciting journey to modernise our railway, improve reliability, and deliver the best possible service for our customers. Now, we’re looking for a Resource Data Compliance Manager to join our team and help us keep our operations on track.
This is a unique opportunity to step into a high-profile role where you’ll be the subject matter expert in traincrew rostering, compliance, and data governance – making sure our rosters are accurate, compliant, and aligned with regulations, agreements, and company standards.
What you’ll be doing:
- Overseeing the accuracy and compliance of traincrew rosters across all depots.
- Monitoring working time regulations, fatigue risk, and internal rostering policies – and taking action where needed.
- Leading audits, spotting trends, and recommending improvements.
- Producing clear, insightful compliance dashboards for senior stakeholders.
- Supporting change projects, from depot restructures to new agreements.
- Working closely with teams across Operations, Control, HR, and Trade Unions.
- What we’re looking for:
- Strong knowledge of traincrew rostering systems (Integrale, TrainPlan, CrewPlan, etc.).
- A keen eye for detail, with the ability to interpret data and identify risks.
- Understanding of working time regulations and fatigue management.
- Clear, confident communicator who can build relationships across teams.
- A methodical, solution-focused approach to problem-solving.
Why join us?
You’ll be part of a forward-thinking, supportive team in a business where no two days are the same. We offer:
- A competitive salary and generous pension scheme.
- 75% discount on rail travel and free travel on our network.
- Career development opportunities across our wider organisation.
- The chance to make a tangible difference in how we operate and serve our passengers.
If you’re ready to combine operational know-how with data-driven insight and play a key role in shaping our resourcing strategy, we’d love to hear from you.
