We are seeking to appoint a Mobile CET Operator/On-train Cleaner to work at our Liverpool/Crewe station to ensure we provide our customers with clean and well-presented trains. This is a vital role to ensure our train environment correct standard required by our customers.

The Role

On-Train Cleaner

In this role you will be responsible for carrying out delegated cleaning duties in accordance with agreed procedures which includes litter picking, removing graffiti, removing unauthorised stickers, cleaning and replenishing toilets, the cleaning of bio-hazards and safe removal and correct disposal of sharps. 

Mobile CET Operator

Here you will be focusing on the operation of the mobile CET (Controlled Emission Toilet) unit on trains that are travelling in service and terminating at the station, in line with agreed timetable changes to ensure train toilet facilities are available for our customers and are in use. In addition to this, cleaning of our trains operating in the area in accordance with local standards to provide a safe and clean environment for our customers.

• Previous cleaning experience and comprehensive knowledge of cleaning procedures
• COSHH awareness
• The ability to work safely and unsupervised is essential

• Able to work to tight deadlines

• Able to work shifts
