Are you an experienced Employee Relations Advisor, who is looking for a new challenge and willing to get stuck into a new role in a friendly and supportive team? If so, due to a review of our HR structure, we are looking to introduce an experienced, highly focused Employee Relations Advisor based at our Battersea office.
The primary focus is to coach and support our leaders and managers by providing timely, accurate and high quality ER advice on a variety of ER matters to enable the most appropriate solution to be identified, whilst ensuring our case management records are accurate and up to date.
In this role you will:
- Provide advice and guidance to our leaders and managers in accordance with our policies and procedures, whilst ensuring that we comply with employment law on a range of ER matters.
- Attend key appeal hearings with the leadership team to support and take notes where necessary
- Lead or take part in key business projects.
- Design and deliver in partnership with the HR Manager and Training Manager, ER focused coaching sessions and workshops to strength the employee relations capability amongst our managers.
- Maintain our case management ER tracker so that it is up-to-date and accurate at any given time.
- Review and design company policies, procedures, guidance toolkits
- Support the HR Manager with ACAS Conciliation cases, employment tribunal cases and TUPE Transfers.
- Provide cover for the HR Advisor when necessary, which will includes completing monthly reports and management information, managing our vacancies and recruitment campaigns via our application tracking system in the absence of the HR Advisor

To be successful in this role you will:
- Be CIPD qualified or have equivalent experience
- Demonstrate a strong background in managing high volume complex ER cases
- Be able to understand and interpret company policies
- Have a broad depth and understanding of UK Employment Law
- Have experience of working within a unionised environment
- Have excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Have excellent Microsoft office skills, specifically in Excel and Word
- Have the ability to influence to ensure that the right business decision are being made
- Experience of managing a TUPE Transfer process, employment tribunals, ACAS Conciliation cases and use of an application tracking system are desirable but not essential and coaching and training can be provided.
