Customer Service Dispatch - 12 Month Fixed Term Contract
We are looking for a proactive and enthusiastic individual to join the team at Witham Station on a 12 Month Fixed Term Contract basis.
Role and Accountability:
The purpose of the role is to always provide a safe environment whilst delivering excellent customer service and seeking opportunities to enhance the customers experience at the station. You need to ensure that customers are extended a welcome to the station providing pro-active assistance and information to customers on and off trains and throughout the station.
This is a safety critical role and you will be responsible for the safe dispatch of our Trains. You will be required to cover 2 busy stations, working 35 hours a week, on a single shift basis. Post holder must be able to dispatch trains safely, although training will be provided for the right candidate. You will be expected to undertake light station cleaning as part of your duties and be responsible for maintaining security of the station premises at all times and carry out winter precautions as per the local instructions.
Salary for this role is £21,605 rising to £22,107 after a years' service.
Experience, Knowledge and Qualifications Required:
You will have excellent customer service skills and be happy to work in a fast pace environment. You will be required to wear a full uniform, ensuring that your standard of appearance complies with company standards. A medical will be required upon a successful interview.
