We have an opportunity to join our team as a Train Planning Manager based at The Hub in Colchester.
This is a critical role, which will lead both the Long Term Planning team, delivering the 6 monthly change to the Greater Anglia timetable, and the Short Term Planning Team who are responsible to the amended train plan caused by engineering work.
This important role within Greater Anglia is the focal point for all Train Planning work and therefore requires and excellent and demonstratable ability to lead a diverse team who have to deliver high quality work on a weekly basis as well as having the ability to develop longer term strategic goals and improvement methodology. Ideally, but not critically, this experience has been gathered within the rail industry. The role will require careful resource management and the ability to deal with a range of internal and external stakeholders at a senior level.
