We have an exciting opportunity to join our Performance and Planning team as a Performance Data Analyst based at either Twickenham or Battersea depots. Reporting to the Performance Director, the successful applicant will analyse and interpret data and produce reports that will support the Performance and Schedules Managers in developing strategies and bus operating schedules that deliver the best possible services for customers.
The Role:
- Produce weekly and periodic reports using the TfL Hyperion system
- Produce KPI reports which will be used by the Performance department to deliver against requirements and measure success across the team
- Support the Network Performance Manager and Performance Managers in identifying data-supported areas of opportunity to improve bus route performance through control strategies
- Support the Schedules Manager in identifying data-supported areas for improvement in bus route timetabling to deliver the best on road performance
- Implementing and maintaining internal dashboards
- Documenting processes and models and propose improvements
- Overseeing the Performance Earnings Tracker of TfL Quality Incentive Contract income
- Undertake any other duties commensurate with the role
The Candidate:
- IT literate with high level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel and/or analysis/visualisation tools
- Must be able to work with large volumes of data and interpret how it can impact the business
- Ability to summarise key findings in a clear and simple manner and adapt to the needs of different users
- Ability to report accurately and meet deadlines
- Ability to analyse and interpret information with a strong understanding of key business drivers
- Ability to develop good working relationships with stakeholders is key
- Demonstrates a strong work ethic and maintains very high standards with high levels of attention to detail
- Enthusiastic team player with emotional intellect to develop effective networks and drive change
- Experience of working in a similar role, in a multi-site, people based business
Having experience of working in a similar role, using analysis/visualisation tools or the TfL Hyperion reporting system is an advantage but not essential.
