An exciting opportunity has arisen in the HQ Safety, Security and Sustainability team for a Safety and Environment Assurance Specialist.

You will play a key role in providing assurance that our Safety and Environmental Management systems are being robustly applied across all Greater Anglia locations and operations, ensuring opportunities for further improvement are captured and managed.

You will work closely, support and provide safety and environmental advice and guidance across all departments and be able to interpret and analyse data to identify trends and themes, undertake risk assessments, review legislation and produce internal documents and reports.

The ideal candidate will hold relevant Safety and Environment qualifications (NEBOSH or equivalent), have experience of undertaking audits and have a detailed understanding of Health, Safety and Environmental legislation. Knowledge of specific railway legislation would also be useful.
