We have an exciting opportunity for 18 new Driving Instructor roles working within our Learning and Development Team. The successful applicants will be based at our Training School in Battersea Depot with a requirement to visit testing centres and other working sites.

Our Driving Instructors:

• Are responsible for training new entrants to the business to achieve their professiona driving licence (PCV). 
• Work with the recruitment team to provide driving assessments for new recruit and refresher training where required for incoming licence holders. 
• Communicate to trainees, while training, useful messages such as the three “sees”, customer experience, first use checks, elements of compliance and anything else the business requires. 
• Provide support and guidance to all trainees.

The Candidate:

• You have excellent knowledge about vehicle checks.
• Must hold a PCV licence for minimum of 3 years.
• No avoidable collisions or injuries for the last 2 years (references/records will be checked).
• Excellent organisational and planning skills to coordinate resources.
• An effective communicator with clear people skills.
• Ability to adapt to different audiences.
• Must have a flexible approach and be prepared to work on a shift pattern.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Good level of customer experience
• Ability to keep a good attendance and excellent timekeeping skills.
