A fantastic opportunity has arisen within the Loss Prevention Department at Merseyrail Electrics.

As a Loss Prevention Support Officer, you will very much lead by example, encompassing the company’s core values, at all times.

You will work alongside the Assistant Loss Prevention Manager and the Department Manager, whilst also engaging with the Revenue Protection team and the wider business.

The Loss Prevention department places great importance on the company’s four core values and you will be expected to consistently understand and demonstrate these within your role on a daily basis.

It is essential that you possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills as this role involves not only communicating with internal employees of Merseyrail but also external bodies including British Transport Police and Court Services as well as speaking with passengers via telephone. The successful candidate must be confident in using different IT packages to gather, interpret and feed out information, as well as a keen eye for detail.

As an individual you will need to be KPI orientated and understand the importance of maximising every opportunity that arises to succeed in reaching departmental objectives.

Due to the nature of the role the successful candidate will need to be a self-assured individual who can remain calm at all times when faced with tight timeframes.
