What does the job involve?

  • Processing the end-to-end administration of HR/recruitment documentation
  • Liaising with candidates, managers, internal departments and the resourcing team
  • Meeting candidates face-to-face to obtain copies of ID documents and paperwork
  • Assisting in the organisation of medicals
  • Updating IT systems with new starter data
  • Responding to queries via telephone, email and face-to-face
  • Chasing up outstanding information in a polite, timely manner
  • Providing administrative support to the resourcing team

 

What skills and experience do I need to do the job?

  • Highly organised – able to juggle a high workload effectively
  • Good Excel skills – able to create pivot tables
  • Delivering results - on time and to strict deadlines
  • Experience using various IT software/database applications
  • Great attention the detail – able to spot issues before they become bigger problems
  • Live within a reasonable commute of Birmingham – you will be working in our city centre office 2-3 days a week
  • Previous HR or recruitment experience
