West Midlands Trains has an exciting opportunity for Traincrew Diagramming Manager to join the Operations Team based at our Head Office in Birmingham. This is a fantastic time to join West Midlands Trains. We operate services in and around the West Midlands, now called West Midlands Railway (WMR) and services from the North West to London, now called London Northwestern Railway (LNR).
In this role you will be responsible for managing a small team to provide traincrew diagrams in a timely and cost-effective manner ensuring efficiency and performance targets are met. You will actively build a relationship of trust with Train Crew Management whilst ensuring that diagrams are produced within all planning timescales. Responsible for leading and motivating your own team you will provide guidance, support and development for all team members.
In order to be considered for this role you will have previous experience acquired in a traincrew planning environment combined with an understanding of all planning activities. You will demonstrate thorough knowledge of planning software systems and an understanding of the rail industry. We are looking for a customer focused individual possessing excellent communication skills who is able to work on their own initiative to achieve tight deadlines.
